This Junior High School is directly situated at the Chamba-Mussoorie Road on the crest of a hill amidst greenery and natural beauty of a Himalayan Valley. From here you see the snow-capped Himalayan mountain-range, if you look towards North. Rishikesh lies in the South and Surkanda-Devi in the West.

The School is situated near the famous Siddha-Peeth Surkanda-Devi, which is at a distance of only 5 kilometres. Pilgrims from distant places regularly visit the temple to get blessings of the Divine Mother 'Surkanda-Devi'.

This area is surrounded by the beautiful fruit belt, mountains and rich forests of rhododendron trees. Years ago, the Government planted thousands and thousands of fruit trees of apples, pears, cherries and nuts to support the agriculture of this area. During winter there is snowfall in this region.
