Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas are lighting the Deepas in front of a photo of His Divinity Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, Who founded the OSN Inter-College on 1st December, in the year 1983.

A grand Hawana was to take place in the "Omkarananda Mini Stadium", for which many OSN Students and their Teachers had assembled.

Every OSN Student receives a holy Kumkum Tilaka on the forehead, by Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

The OSN School Students, in their school uniform, are nicely seated in line, and watch the ongoing Maha-Yajna.

A perfect Maha-Yajna, according to the ancient Vedic science, was performed by the Omkarananda Ashram Priests, along with Venu Guru ji.

Purnahuti is offered by Kumari Somashekhari.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati performs the Omkarananda Arati.

Pushpanjali is offered to Sadgurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati by the Senior Educationist and President of the OSN Management Committee, Shri I.D. Joshi.

OSN Students, from the OSN School Choir, sing a very beautiful Bhajan in pure Sanskrit,
accompanied by their Music Teacher, Mrs. Banerjee, on Harmonium.

The noble and dynamic OSN Principal, Shri Rajiv Singh Rautela, highlights the value and importance of this spiritual Celebration with a Maha-Yajna. He also informed about marvellous achievements of different OSN Students.

Now it was time for the much-awaited Divine Blessings by Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, who had been appointed by Sadgurudev Shri
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati as His worthy Successor. Swami ji made it clear,
that the tremendous growth of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, since the last 40 years, was possible only by the Divine Grace of Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

Swami ji thanked and encouraged all OSN Students, Principal, Teachers and Staff for their cooperation.

Kumari Somashekhari, besides being an Indian Classical Dancer and Musician, is an expert in many languages, including Sanskrit. Here she explains the meaning and importance of different Mantras.
