Visit of Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda
Saraswati and Kumari Somashekhari to Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu,
during Sharadiya (Autumnal) Navaratri Celebrations,
October 2023

On 18th October 2023, during the Sharadiya
Navaratri Festival, Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati
and Kumari Somashekhari visited the building, belonging to
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, "Omkarananda Veda Mata Bhawanam",
in Kanchipuram, which is situated directly at the Kanchi Kamakshi
Mandir. Here one can see them in the small Temple of the
"Omkarananda Veda Mata Bhawanam", were regularly Pujas and
Prayers are conducted.

After his Puja, Kanchipuram Priest, Shri
Lokanathan, offers the Prasadam to Swami ji and Kumari
Somashekhari.

A wonderful Devotee from Kanchipuram is
happy to receive Kumari Somashekhari at her office cum residence.

Inside the Temple-Compound of Shri Kanchi
Kamakshi Devi, Kanchipuram: Chief-Priest Shri Suresh Sastry ji
(in the middle) had given a basket with different lovely, fresh
flowers to Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati and Kumari
Somashekhari, to bless the flowers, before they are offered into a
special Navaratri Yajna, inside the Kamakshi Temple.

In the divine Temple room, in the house of
the Chief-Priest of the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple, from left to
right: Shri Suresh Sastry, Hereditary Chief-Priest of the Kanchi
Kamakshi Temple in Kanchipuram, Kumari Somashekhari, General
Secretary, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Indian Classical
Dancer and Musician, and Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda
Saraswati, President, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and appointed
Successor of His Divinity Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.
Chief-Priest Suresh ji had offered precious, fragrant Cardamom
Malas to Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari, as
a special Prasadam.
