Kala-Bhairava Ashtami Celebration,
in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
on 4th & 5th December 2023

The Mahakala-Bhairava Mandir, situated in the Headquarters of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, is shining with colourful lights, in the night of 4th December 2023.

A powerful Yajna in front of the Garbha Griha of Shri Mahakala-Bhairava was conducted by Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

Sanjay Pandit ji offers Arati to the Swarna Akarshana Bhairava Yantra, which is very auspicious and brings good luck. It consists of 108 small earthen Kalashas, filled with holy Ganges water and flower petals. This beautiful Yantra had been charged with Divine Powers by Mantra Recitations of the Omkarananda Ashram Priests.

Next morning, on 5th December 2023, the powerful Yajna was continued by Chief-Priest of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Shri Suresh Pandit ji.

Purnahuti by the Chief-Priest.

Shri Venu Gopal Sharma is offering flowers to the Altar.

Shri Swami Satchidananda Saraswati, Treasurer, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, also joined this holy Celebration. Here one can see Sanjay Pandit ji, handing over carefully the mask of Shri Yogeshwara to Shri Swami Satchidananda for Pradakshina around the Mahakala-Bhairava Temple.

An Omkarananda Ashram Priest is purifying the way around the Temple with Ganga Jal.

Shri Swami Satchidananda and the Priests, after having carried holy Kalashas and divine Masks three times around the Temple, have arrived in front of the Garbha Griha.

Big and small holy Kalashas are carried during constant Mantra Recitation inside the Shrine for Abhisheka of the Pranapratishtha Murti of Shri Mahakala-Bhairava.
