Mandala-Abhishekam following
"Jeernodharana Rajata Bandhana Maha-Kumbhabhishekam"
for Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi and Other Deities in
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas from 11th
April to 28th May 2023
|
For exactly 48 days, from 11th April 2023
onwards, Mandala Pujas, Hawanas and Abhishekas were performed by
the dedicated Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. This 48-day
special Puja is very important in order to protect and strengthen
all the Pranapratishtha Deities after the conclusion of
Maha-Kumbhabhishekam. Daily, without fail, the Priests of
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas made additional Pujas and Hawanas,
specifically for the 9 Navagrahas ( 9 "planets"), 12 Rashis (12
zodiac signs) and 27 Nakshatras (27 asterisms, or 27 groups of
stars, important in Vedic Astrology). 9 plus 12 plus 27 equals to
48, therefore the Mandala Abhishekam consists of 48 days. The
Priests also offered daily prayers to all Devatas of the
Omkarananda Ashram Temples, followed by additional Abhishekam for
Shri Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi, in the evening time.

This 48-day Mandala Abhishekam was
completed on 28th May 2023 in a grand way. In the Yajnashala of
Shri Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir a beautiful Altar had been
installed.

With special Pujas and Prayers, an
important Shri Vidya Priest of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Shri
Sanjay Panditji, invoked the living presence of all
Pranapratishtha Deities of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas into the
Kalashas, placed on the Altar, along with a photo of Sadgurudev
Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and Pictures of Shri
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi and Lord Shiva.

This was
followed by an extensive Homa with different Omkarananda Ashram
Priests.

Shri Swami Satchidananda Saraswati,
Treasurer, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, is giving Ahutis, along
with the Priests.

Chief-Priest of Omkarananda Ashram
Himalayas, Shri Vidya Priest Suresh Panditji, offers cow's ghee
into Agnidevata.

Shri Swami
Satchidananda performs Arati for all the Devatas.

Shri Swami
Vishveshwarananda also joined this powerful Homa.

The Purnahuti for this grand Yajna was
offered by Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati,
President, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji offers the
beautiful, mystical light of the Arati to Gurudev and all Devatas.

Finally Swamiji performs the Kumbha-Deepa
Arati, which is most important, but rarely seen in North India.

From the Altar, inside the Yajnashala of
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, all the precious Kalashas had
been taken for the holy Kalasha Yatra, led by Shri Swami
Vishveshwarananda (left) and by Shri Swami Satchidananda (right).

The Swamijis, followed by the Priests, are
leaving the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir to proceed to other
Temples.

An Omkarananda
Ashram Priest is constantly purifying the route with holy Ganga
Jal.

All have arrived at the
Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti Temple, situated under a beautiful
Banyan tree, to get the Blessings of Shri
Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti. Priest Mukesh Panditji is sprinkling
holy water on the participants of the Kalasha Yatra.

From the Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti Mandir
the holy Kalashas are carried forward to other beautiful Temples
of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

Among powerful prayers, Shri Sanjay
Panditji, assisted by other Priests of Omkarananda Ashram
Himalayas, ties a new flag on the Kalasha, fixed on the uppermost
part of the Omkara-Mahaganapati Mandir, and also puts a fresh
flower-garland around it.

Swami
Vishveshwarananda and Swami Satchidananda carry holy Kalashas
towards Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

Omkarananda Ashram Priests Sanjay Panditji
(left) and others perform Abhisheka with the Navagrahas. After
that, very grand Abhishekas for all Pranapratishtha Deities in
their Garbha Grihas, inside the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir,
including Shri Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi, were performed. Then the
Omkarananda Ashram Priests decorated all Deities in a very
beautiful and divine manner. This wonderful Function completed
with Arati, Pushpanjali and Prasad Distribution in the night.
