Vishwakarma Puja,
in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, on 17th September 2021

A beautiful Altar and a provisional Hawana Kunda had been established in the Headquarters of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, in front of the Carpenter Workshop, in order to worship Lord Vishwakarma, on 17th September 2021. On the top of the Altar the Priests of Omkarananda Ashram had placed a photo of His Divinity Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and pictures of Lord Ganesha and Lord Vishwakarma. Lord Vishwakarma is the Divine Architect of the whole Universe, therefore He is specially worshipped by Architects, Artisans, Craftsmen, Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians, Handymen, Manual Workers, etc. Important tools of the Omkarananda Ashram's Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician and their assistants, were put on the Altar, so that these tools may be blessed by Lord Vishwakarma. The fruits below are offered to the Divine and later on distributed as Prasadam to all.

A wonderful Yajna in Honour of Lord Vishwakarma took place. From left to right: Shri Swami Satchidananda Saraswati, Treasurer Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Shri Suresh Panditji, Chief-Priest Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Shri Sanjay Panditji, another very important Priest of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. In the background one can see some of the employees of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, along with the Ashram carpenter, who is sitting in the front row on the right.

After the completion of the special Vishwakarma Puja and Yajna Shri Sanjay Panditji offers first Prasadam to Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas (left) and Shri Swami Satchidananda, Treasurer, and then to all others present.
