38th Foundation Day Celebration for
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College (OSN), in Muni-ki-reti, via Rishikesh,
on 1st December 2020

Here one can see a part of the spacious, grand building of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam
Inter-College (OSN), which is situated in the heart of Muni-ki-reti.

Several School Buses, owned by Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam,
are usually bringing the students safely from near and far places.

To celebrate the 38th Foundation Day of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam,
a wonderful Yajna was conducted in the School premises of OSN by Mahant
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati and two Omkarananda Ashram Priests.

After offering the Purnahuti, Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda pours Ghee into the holy fire.

A special Omkarananda Arati is performed by Swami Vishveshwarananda
for his Guru Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
who founded Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam on 1st December 1983.

The Vice-Principal of OSN, Mrs. Gairola, and Members of the OSN Management Committee,
are offering Prayers and Pushpanjali as their tribute to the Founder President of OSN,
Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

In his address, the President of OSN Management Committee, Shri I. D. Joshi,
is praising Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati for having established
this wonderful Inter-College, which has presently a strength of 2500 students and
has provided over the last decades excellent Education to Tens of Thousands of children.

The President of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, is thanking Principal, Vice-Principal, Teachers and Staff for their hard work.
Swamiji also mentioned, that it is praiseworthy, that even during National Lockdown,
the OSN Teachers continue their efforts to train the students,
by teaching them regularly through online Classes.
