Krishna-Janmashtami Celebration
in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
on 12th August 2020

On 12th August 2020 there was Nationwide Lockdown because of the Corona Virus Outbreak. Therefore Krishna-Janmashtami in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas was celebrated this year
in a very humble, but nevertheless devotional manner, with only resident Priests and Ashramites taking part in it. The Omkarananda Ashram Priests had established a beautiful Altar with the Baby Krishna, sitting in His Jhula (swing), in front of the "Shri Padmavati samet Balaji" Shrine in
the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir. Different fresh fruits, dry fruits, sweets and
delicious fresh butter, which was home-made in the Omkarananda Ashram Temple-Kitchen,
were offered to cute Krishnaji.

Special Puja, followed by the Recitation of Vishnu-Sahasranama,
was performed in front of the Shrine.

Omkarananda Ashram Priests sing Bhajans to glorify Lord Krishna.
