Guru-Purnima Celebration in
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
on 5th July 2020

The three direct Disciples of Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, namely Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas (sitting in the center), Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Shri Swami Satchidananda Saraswati, Treasurer Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas (sitting behind Kumari Somashekhari), are celebrating with deep devotion Guru-Purnima in Honour of Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, assisted by Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

Special Prayers in front of the Altar with the Silver Padukas of
Sadgurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati. 

The Silver Padukas of Gurudev have been placed on a special plate,
so that Puja and Abhisheka can be done for them. 

Abhisheka is performed with cow's milk and other holy ingredients. 

Sacred Ganga Jal is poured through two beautiful
white Shankhas (conches) on Gurudev's Padukas. 

After completion of Abhisheka, the holy Padukas are again placed
on their Aasana (divine seat) for further Pujas.
