Omkarananda Mahotsava Celebrations
in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
from 25th December to 31st December 2020
Special Puja, Hawana, Bhajans,
Devotional Dance by Kumari Somashekhari, Blessings by
Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Ganga Arati,
in Honour of Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
at Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, on 31st December 2020

The Altar of Gurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati at the holy Ganga.

Priests of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and two students of the Ashram's Gurukul
Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, are performing a special Yajna in Honour of Gurudev.

Seen from above are the buildings and the divinely vibrating area of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, the Gurukul of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, situated directly at the Ganga.

All are listening to the divine Recitation of the 108 holy Names of
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, the "Shri Sadguru Omkarananda-
Ashtottara-Shata-Namavali" during the Yajna.

Swami Vishveshwarananda offers Pushpanjali to Gurudev.

Shri G. Sukumar, Master of Ceremonies, is briefing the audience
about the items of the following programme.

Some of the students of the Gurukul Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya
are chanting Sanskrit Shlokas.

Somashekhari, with her perfect Bharatanatyam Temple Dance,
touches the hearts of all devotees and guests.

All devotees and guests enjoy Bhajans by the musicians.

The widely known Garhwali Folksinger, Shri Ramesh Uniyal,
presents a joyous song, written by himself.

A powerful Bharatanatyam Devi Dance in Honour of Sadgurudev
Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, is performed by Kumari Somashekhari.

in Honour of Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, in the heavenly Gurukul
Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, at the holy Ganga.

Praising all the Educational Institutions of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas in the
Garhwal area, and specially highlighting the Gurukul Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya,
Shri I. D. Joshi, Senior Educationist and President of OSN Management Committee,
is expressing his deepest Admiration and Gratitude to His Divinity
Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

Shri Manish Dimri, a very popular and dynamic Social Worker in Rishikesh/Muni-ki-reti
and Member of OSN Management Committee, said, that he feels happy to be associated with Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and its President Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati.
He expressed his honest Admiration for Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
for establishing many Schools for the Garhwal Children in very interior Himalayan areas,
where even the Government failed to provide help.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, delighted by Shri Dimriji's speech,
is going to offer a Shawl of Honour to him.

Guru-Bhakti-Ratna  Kumari Somashekhari completes her devotional Dance performances,
in Honour of Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, with the Omkarananda Arati Dance.

An extremely nice and lovely Devotee from Delhi, Shrimati Madhvi Dua,
offered a Shawl to Kumari Somashekhari.

Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, blessed everybody with his kind and deeply spiritual speech. He thanked all active Participants
for their contribution to Omkarananda Mahotsava 2020, and also all Devotees and Guests,
for attending this divine Festival. Swamiji wished, that everybody present should attain
the Blessings of the holy river Ganges for the coming new year and also thereafter.
Swami Vishveshwarananda completed his dynamic speech with the joyous exclamation:

"Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Maharaj ki Jay !"

All are listening very attentively to the divine words of Swami Vishveshwarananda.

The Principal of the Gurukul Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, Acharya Shivkumar Malviya, praised the Greatness and golden Heart of Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji and
called him a "Tyag ki Murti" (Embodiment of Renunciation), because he selflessly provides
this huge precious place at the Ganga for the holy purpose of Vedic Education.

Director of Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology (OIMT), Dr. Rajul Dutt,
along with a Lady Devotee from Delhi, are presenting Dakshina and
soft warm blankets to the Vedic students.

At the arrival of sunset, Arati for Gurudev Paramahamsa
Omkarananda Saraswati and Maa Ganga was performed.

After the Arati very few Ashramites and Vedic students proceeded down
to a platform near the Ganga for Pushpanjali.

Among joyous Chanting of Mantras, fresh flower petals were offered to Maa Ganga.

Finally, Kumari Somashekhari, assisted by a Vedic student, offered fresh hot tea
to the Devotees, which was greatly appreciated because of very cold weather.
