Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari
as Special Invitees to the 32nd Ganesha Festival
in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, on 1st September 2019

Above one can see the colourful, printed Invitation for the 32nd grand Ganesha-Festival
in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu, along with photos of H.H. Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and
Kumari Somashekhari, where in Tamil Language the spiritual Lecture and divine Blessings of Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas
and the Bharatanatyam Dance Performance of Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary, Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, are announced for Sunday, the 1st September 2019.
Below this announcement is printed a small note with a few lines, where Kumari Somashekhari's dedication and love for the spiritual Culture of Tamil Nadu is described. It is mentioned, that Somashekhari is doing great Tapasya to learn Bharatanatyam and to study and thoroughly understand the meaning of ancient spiritual texts and songs of great South Indian Mystics
(like Thirugnana Sambandar and others), that she further learns to sing their songs and then demonstrates the exact meaning of these sacred songs through her Bharatanatyam dance performances. It is also mentioned, that Kumari Somashekhari has dedicated her whole life
to the Divine. The note concludes, hailing Kumari Somashekhari as "Tamizh Thai"
(Tamil Mother Goddess).

In Rajapalayam, Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, who had come all the way
from Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, was specially welcomed in the traditional South Indian
way with Umbrella, Temple Musicians etc. The Main Organizer of the Ganesha Festival,
Shri Ramraj (on the left), is guiding Swamiji through the huge crowd of Devotees.

Among great cheers, Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari were honoured
with Shawls and flower-malas and a lovely "live Ganesha" showered Blessings on them.

Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, and
Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and
Bharatanatyam Dancer, were respectfully given a seat on the stage of a huge tent,
in which thousands of Devotees from Rajapalayam and the nearby Srivilliputhur had assembled.
A wonderful, dynamic Nama-Sankirtan by Shri Karthik Gnaneshwar Bhagavathar
and his groupe from Chennai, filled the atmosphere with divine Joy.

Towards the conclusion of their beautiful programme, Shri Karthik Gnaneshwar and
friends placed Murtis of Radha and Krishna on the stage. Imagining, that they are in Brindavan,
they continued their powerful Sankirtan (divine songs) and also started dancing in joy and
ecstasy around Radha and Krishna. Kumari Somashekhari also joined their devotional dancing.

Lady-devotees, sitting separately on one side, are watching the holy programme.

Kumari Somashekhari was requested to address the audience in their Mother Language Tamil
and sing a holy song in ancient Tamil, from Thevaaram. The audience was surprised to hear
the song and responded accordingly. Finally Somashekhari congratulated Shri Ramraj for
organizing this grand spiritual Festival, and she also expressed her admiration for the
divine songs, rendered by Shri Karthik Gnaneshwar and his groupe.

Guru-Bhakti-Ratna Kumari Somashekhari is ready for her dance-performance,
on 1st September 2019, in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu.

Before Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati was showering His Blessings
on countless Devotees, he was lovingly welcomed by a cute Elephant.

Kumari Somashekhari, who had come from the far away Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas
to join this Function, performed purely classical Bharatanatyam Temple-Dances.
Her dignified performance and her divine appearance in a traditional dress,
with traditional ornaments, was a surprise for many.

A huge crowd of Devotees and different Dignitaries from Rajapalayam came to the stage
to honour Mahant Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda
Ashram Himalayas, and take his Blessings.
