Visits to the Gurukul of
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya,
at the holy Ganga, in February 2018

Here some students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya can be seen reciting the Vedas
in the Yagnashala of the Gurukul, situated directly at the Ganga.

Lord Dakshinamurti is watching over the students.

Kumari Somashekhari rewards all the students for their brilliant Recitation of the Vedas.

The Students proceed to the Ganga for a special Puja.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
and Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary, perform a special Puja at the Ganga
to honour Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
while the students recite Vedic Hymns.

Students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya in the heavenly environment
of this Gurukul, with the Ganga in the background.

A Goshala with a few cows is a part of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya.
A small cute calf enjoys the presence of Swami Vishveshwarananda and
the lovely touch of Kumari Somashekhari.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari regularly visit
the beautiful Gurukul of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. Here they can be seen
discussing with the Principal of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, Shri Shivkumar Malviya,
and another Vedic Scholar and Kathavachak, Shri Pranava Joshi.

As usual the students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya impress with their recitations
of the Vedas in the beautiful Shukla Yajurveda Style, accompanied by hand gestures.

After their lessons the students assemble to listen
to a divine speech by Swami Vishveshwarananda.

The Students, Principal and Acharya of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya
are very happy and grateful for Swami Vishveshwarananda's encouraging and
inspiring words of Divine Wisdom and respond with spontaneous applause.
