The Pranapratishtha (Life-giving) Ceremony
for Shri Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti started at an auspicious
time in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas by the well-known Priest
from the South, Shri Sudhakar Sharma. Sitting on his left one can
see Shri Venu Gopalji. After a powerful Yajna by the Priests,
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda offered Purnahuti.

Abhisheka with honey and other ingredients
is made for the new beautiful and high-class 5-Metal Idol of
Shri Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti.

Here one can see the special Peetham or
Divine Seat, on which the new idol of Shri
Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti will be permanently fixed. In a small
hollow opening were put different precious items, like gems,
Yantras, and so on.

With the support of the Holy Hands of Shri
Swami Vishveshwarananda, assisted by Shri Sudhakar Sharma, the
beautiful Omkarananda-Dakshinamurti was finally placed on His
Peetham inside the Temple, and fixed with a special, long-lasting
paste, consisting of natural ingredients.
