35th Foundation Day Celebration
of Omkarananda

Foundation Day Celebration of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam (OSN).

Blessings for the arrival of the guests, teachers and students.
Students of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam,
in the perfect school dress,
are ready for the start of the
function.
Honourable Chief Guest, Shri P.S. Kalra,
and his wife, along with honourable
OSN Principal Mr. Das
(right) and Kumari Somashekhari and Swami Vishveshwarananda
are lighting the Deepas to invoke Blessings for this historic
function.

see the stunning performance of the students.
Tiny tots are always a special attraction
when it comes to their performance.
The higher-class students showed a
Rajasthani Folk-dance, which truly
mesmerized the audience.
Prompt response came with a big clapping.
Honourable Mr. P.S. Kalra, Principal of
Guru Nanak Academy, Dehradun and
noted Educationist with
international experience, briefed the audience about the
importance of a value-based education for the students. He
appreciated the work done
by Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam,
which he earlier had seen, when he was Inspector
on behalf of
ICSE School examinations.
Honourable OSN Principal, Mr. Debasis Das,
thanked all the teachers, students and staff,
who made this
function possible. He said that he is very grateful, that an
eminent person,
like Mr. P.S. Kalra, has taken out time to
visit the school.
Swami Vishveshwarananda, offering thanks to
everybody, spoke about Mr. P. S. Kalra,
whom he considers a
man with great principles and spiritual values. Swamiji specially
made it clear that all the wonderful things, which are
happening here, are only the result
of the extraordinary Grace
of Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.
