and Ganga-Arati,
in Honour of
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
at Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya,
on 31st December 2017

Peacefully and harmoniously is flowing the mighty river Ganga in front of
the picturesque and splendid Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya.
It could not be a better place to honour Gurudev with a powerful Yajna
on the concluding day of Omkarananda Mahotsava.

The beautifully dressed students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya
are joining the recitations of the Vedic Hymns by the Omkarananda Ashram Priests.

The President of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati,
is praising the beautiful arrangement made by the Ashram Priests Suresh and Sanjay.
He further announces joyful Radha-Krishna Dances by Kumari Somashekhari.

Everybody is enjoying the beautiful Radha-Krishna Dances.

The Principal of the Gurukul, Acharya Shivkumar Malviya, is offering a shawl
to Kumari Somashekhari as an expression of gratitude for her lovely dance.

As usual, the great Garhwali singer Ramesh Uniyal, is enthralling the audience
with his joyous song on Gurudev and Omkarananda Ashram.

Accompanied by life-musicians, Kumari Somashekhari
spontaneously performed another dance to a Bhajan.

Shri D. K. Varshney appreciated the rare and golden opportunity, given to the children
of the Gurukul Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, with all the facilities
for their studies, including a Yajna-Shala and Go-Shala.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda is very pleased and thankful to each and every one
who helped to make this spiritual evening a very joyous function.

Arati for Gurudev and Ganga Maa.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, Kumari Somashekhari and Suresh Panditji
are offering flowers to Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati. Above,
in the night-sky, is brightly shining the moon of the 14th lunar night (Chaturdashi),
which is considered to be an especially beautiful, soft, tender and luminous moon.

All are proceeding towards the Ganga with fresh flower-petals.

It was an exciting moment when, along with Chanting of Mantras, Pushpanjali was
performed joyously for Maa Ganga. Everybody was thrilled to be there at this auspicious moment.

Kumari Somashekhari and Swami Vishveshwarananda are distributing holy Prasadam to everybody.
