Bhajans by
Professional Musicians and Indian Classical Dance by Kumari
Somashekhari in Honour of
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, in Omkarananda
Dipeshwar Mandir, Lakshman Jhula, on 28th December 2017
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati,
President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, and Kumari
Somashekhari, at the sacred Tulsi in the Headquarters of
Omkarananda Ashram, before proceeding to Omkarananda Dipeshwar
Mandir.
Omkarananda Dipeshwar Mandir is one of the
very precious Temples in Lakshman Jhula. Being directly at the
famous Lakshman Jhula Bridge and facing Mother Ganga, it is no
doubt a place of great attraction.
Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman,
wearing very beautiful dresses, grant blessings in the Vijaya
Raghava Shrine of the Temple.
In the Temple Hall of Omkarananda Dipeshwar
Mandir, Kumari Somashekhari - a real Temple-Dancer - performed
different Bharatanatyam items, which were much appreciated by
the audience.
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda thanked
Somashekhari for her excellent performance. He also was
praising the good works and wonderful arrangements, including the
lovely flower-decorations, done by Shri Suresh Panditji and
Shri Sanjay Panditji from the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir
and by Shri Vishnuji, who is taking care of Omkarananda
Dipeshwar Mandir.
It was always the wish of Shri Vishnuji,
that time and again such spiritual Functions with Dance,
Bhajan-Kirtan, Prayer, Meditation and special Yajnas are taking
place in Omkarananda Dipeshwar Mandir. He thanked Soma for
helping him, to realise his dream.
Finally, Swami Vishveshwarananda offered
Arati to Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati as Thanks
for His Protection and Blessings.
Everybody joins the Arati.
