Omkarananda Jayanti Celebrations,
on 25th December 2016

The Omkarananda Jayanti Celebrations started in the
early morning of 25th December 2016 with Sundarkand Recitations
in front of Omkarananda-Hanuman Mandir.

Everybody is standing in front of Omkarananda-Hanuman Mandir during Arati.

Shri Swami Satchidananda takes care for the Audio-System
to ensure a smooth functioning of the Cultural Function
in Honour of Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

Shri Swami Paramananda, Master of Ceremony, announces the
chanting of different Vedic Hymns by some of the students
of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya.

Guru-Bhakti-Ratna Kumari Somashekhari
performs a typical, highclass Bharatanatyam Temple-Dance.

Shri Siddhartha Krishnaji expresses his deep Gratitude to
Gurudev Swami Omkarananda and Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
for providing him the ideal environment to become a great Vedic Scholar.

Vidushi Raksha performs a Shiva-Vandana in Bharatanatyam Style.

Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji appreciates the wonderful contribution of Raksha.

A beautiful flower-bouquet was presented to Raksha
by the cute, little Arpita Bhardwaj.

The audience listens to a Bhajan, presented by professional musicians.

Shri Mohit Kumarji , Supreme Court Lawyer and President of Management-Committee of OIMT (Omkarananda Institute of Management and Technology),
is highlighting the great works of His Divinity
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati in the field of education
and spirituality, spread all over Uttarakhand.

The well-known Garhwali singer, Shri Ramesh Uniyal, rendered a song,
composed by himself in Honour of Swami Omkarananda,
which was very much appreciated by the audience.

Graceful und joyous Dance-Performance by Kumari Somashekhari
was one of the Highlights of the Function.

Shri D. K. Varshneyji, Vice-President of Management Committee of
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam Inter-College, praised in his key-note
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, Kumari Somashekhari and
Shri Swami Satchidananda for their outstanding and unique dedication
to the Mission of their Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Successor of
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, mentions in his inspiring
and lively speech the tireless and hard work of Gurudev
for the benefit of the whole world.

The impressive cultural Function in Honour of Gurudev Paramahamsa
Omkarananda Saraswati was concluded by the Omkarananda-Arati,
performed by Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and
the Chief-Priest of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

All devotees and guests could enjoy a nice Prasadam
in form of a well-prepared Bhandara.
