Brahmotsava of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir,
Muni-ki-Reti, via Rishikesh, from 21st March till 23rd March 2016

The Celebration of Brahmotsava started with a grand Yajna.

Swami Vishveshwarananda offers Purnahuti to Agni-Devata.

Seeking the Blessings for a wonderful Function Swami Vishveshwarananda
offers Arati to Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

The Kalashas filled with the holy water of Ganga and charged with powerful
Prayers are getting ready for Abhisheka of Lord Omkara-Mahaganapati,
Lord Mahakala-Bhairava and Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna.

Kalasha-Yatra towards the respective Deities.

All have reached in front of the Shrine of Omkara-Mahaganapati,
where some Kalashas are placed for Abhisheka.

Priest Sanjay Panditji receives the Kalashas for the Abhisheka of
Lord Mahakala-Bhairava and blesses everybody with sprinkling of holy water.

After Abhisheka Kumari Somashekhari offers
Arati to Lord Omkara-Mahaganapati.

Arati is offered to Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna.

Everybody is watching the Arati for Mahakala-Bhairava.

After an elaborate arrangement of 1000 Kalashas filled with the holy water of Ganga,
and a beautifully decorated Altar with the Utsava Murtis, a Photo of
Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and a Picture of Gajalakshmi,
the night Puja for the Brahmotsava started with the Recitation of Lalita
Sahasranama by the Priests of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

Swami Vishveshwarananda is offering Arati for the Deities.

Mukesh Panditji is blessing all the Kalashas.

Flowers are offered to Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

Rice corns, Kumkum and fresh rose flowers are put inside every Kalasha.

The Priest applies the holy Tilak to Swami Satchidananda.

The 3rd and final day of the Brahmotsava started with a special Yajna.

After Purnahuti Swami Vishveshwarananda offers flowers.

Everybody is chanting "Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi ki Jay!".
In the background can be seen students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya,
taking part in this event.

Arati for Gurudev and all Deities by Swami Vishveshwarananda.

Kumari Somashekhari is offering Arati to all the Kalashas, ready for Abhisheka.

The Priest initiates the Kalasha Yatra.

The Kalashas are carried in a Procession around
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

The first Kalashas are placed inside the Shrine of
Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi for Abhisheka.

Abhisheka for Lord Omkarananda-Hanuman.

Abhisheka to all the Navagrahas.

Abhisheka for Gurudev and Shivalingam.

Some Vedic students are powerfully chanting Vedic Hymns, while others are
handing over all the 1000 Kalashas into Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi's Shrine,
helped by Swami Satchidananda (sitting) and Swami Pragyananda (standing).

Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari are thanking the
students for their tireless chanting during the Main-Celebrations.

The students are receiving Vidya Prabodhini from Kumari Somashekhari.

Sadhus are sitting in the shade of the holy Peepal-Tree
opposite Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

After Alankara the final Arati for Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi takes place.

The Sadhus proceed to a Bhandara, which has been
specially arranged for this occasion.

Prasadam is served to the Saints.

Mahamandaleshwar Shri Ishwar Das and Mahants are sitting on the Dais.

Swami Satchidananda is offering Dakshina to each and every Sadhu.

The Saints after a successful Bhandara.

The students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya also join the Bhandara.
