Sharadiya Navaratri Celebrations
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir
from 13th October to 22nd October 2015

Every Navaratri a beautiful Altar for Omkarananda-Shanta-Durga is
established in the Yajnashala of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.
Every morning and evening Pujas are conducted there. Here one can see
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati concluding the morning Puja with Arati.

Every evening additional Hawanas are conducted by the
Priests of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari offer flowers for the Purnahuti.

Welcome address by Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President
Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, on the night of 20th October 2015, Durga-Ashtami,
in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir. Swamiji also read out the meaning of
the Temple Dances of Kumari Somashekhari on this occasion.

Exceptionally beautiful Bharatanatyam dance poses
by Kumari Somashekhari as a form of prayer for the Divine Mother.

A devotee, overwhelmed by Soma's performance,
is offering her a flower mala as Gratitude.

Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji requested Shri Sukumarji to honour
the Priests of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir with Malas,
as a sign of Gratitude and Respect for their good and hard works
during the Navaratri Celebrations.

A few inspiring words by Swami Vishveshwarananda
on this great occasion of Navaratri.

In the afternoon of 22nd October 2015,
Vijaya-Dashami was celebrated with a grand Yajna.

Purnahuti by Kumari Somashekhari and Shri Suresh Panditji,
Chief Priest of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

Arati offered to Omkarananda-Shanta-Durga Devi by Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda.

Swami Satchidananda is offering Arati to the Devi.

are being blessed with the holy Ganges water from the Kalashas,
which had been charged with Mantra power during the Navaratri Celebrations.

The Vijaya Dashami Celebrations in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas
were concluded with a heart-touching Kanya-Puja. The first Kanya to be worshipped
was Baby Jaahnvi (another name for Mother Ganga), the 2-year old daughter
of the Principal of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya.

The next cute Kanya, being worshipped by
Kumari Somashekhari, is 3-year old Baby Arpita.

Every Kanya receives beautiful gifts from Soma.

Finally Kumari Somashekhari worships all the 9 beautiful Kanyas with Arati.
