Inauguration-Celebrations of
Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir
in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Muni-ki-Reti, via Rishikesh,
Uttarakhand, from 26th to 28th August 2015

The Inauguration of the lovely Omkar­ananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir started in the morning of 26th August with powerful Pujas and Yajnas conducted by Shri Bharadwaj, Chief Priest of Karunya Mahaganapati Mandir, Delhi, assisted by Shri Sundarar Murti, Chief Priest of Pazhani Mandir, Tamil Nadu, in the presence of Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Shri Swami Satchidananda.

Fruits and coconuts to be offered to the Divine.

Ashramites and Devotees are joining the Purnahuti. On the left side is seen
the Omkara-Mahaganapati Mandir and on the right side the
newly constructed Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir.

Distribution of Prasadam.

Before the beautiful, gold-plated Kalasha is put on the top of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir, Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda is carrying it in a procession around the holy Peepal Tree and the new Temple, followed by Kumari Somashekhari, Swami Satchidananda, Shri Sukumar and others.

The Kalasha is fixed on the top of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir.

Special Pujas at the Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir, in the evening.

The elaborate Hawanas and Pujas were concluded in the night with Arati.

The beautiful Murtis of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna in Their Temple,
on 26th August 2015, the day before Prana was given to them.

The Utsava Murtis of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna have been placed
in front of the Kalashas, which later will be used for Abhisheka of
Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna and Vimana Devata,
the Kalasha on the top of the Temple.

The Temple musicians guide the Priests and Swami Satchidananda around the Temple.

Pandit Bharadwaj leads the Kalasha Yatra for the Kumbha-Abhisheka of
the Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir in the morning of 27th August 2015.
Swami Satchidananda blesses the Priests with flowers.

Pandit Bharadwaj and Pandit Sundarar Murti are climbing on the top of the Temple
for the Kumbha-Abhi­sheka Ritual, in which holy water is poured over the Kalasha
on the Gopuram, signifying the culmination of the inauguration ceremony of the
Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir with the living Presence of its Deities,
Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna.

Mr. & Mrs. Upadhyay are rewarding the Priests for their hard work.

In the afternoon of 27th August 2015 devotees have assembled to watch the beautiful ceremony of Radha-Krishna-Kalyanam, the divine marriage of Radha and Krishna.

The Priests are getting ready for the great event of the Radha-Krishna marriage.

The students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya
support them with chanting of Vedic Hymns.

Both the Priests prepare the Utsava Murtis of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna
for the marriage ceremony.

Three Suvasinis sanctify the area of the marriage-place
with holy water, Deepas and flowers.

The golden Mangalasutra is shown to the devotees by the Priest,
before it is put around Omkarananda-Radha.

The audience is waiting for the auspicious moment.

Arati is offered to the Utsava Murtis, who represent
Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna married.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
is announcing the Temple dances performed by Kumari Somashekhari as
an integral part of the Kalyanam-Utsava of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna.

Kumari Somashekhari shows the artistic style of
a perfect South-Indian Classical Temple Dance.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda speaks about the greatness of Lord Krishna and Radha.
He also thanks everybody for attending the beautiful Kumbha-Abhisheka.

Shri Bharadwaj, Chief Priest of Karunya Mahaganapati Temple, Delhi, is honoured
by Swami Vishveshwarananda with a shawl for his excellent way of conducting
the Kumbha-Abhisheka of Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir.

Swamiji expresses special Thanks to the wonderful couple, Mr. & Mrs. Upadhyay, who provided great help for realising the beautiful Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir.

The wife of Mr. Upadhyay receives a shawl from Kumari Somashekhari.

On the conclusion of this wonderful event Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji again offers
his deepest Adorations and Thanks to each and everybody and above all to
Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, Whose divine Blessings
made everything successful.

On the following day, on 28th August 2015, Sadhus were sitting in the shadow of the holy Peepal-tree, next to Omkarananda-Radha-Krishna Mandir, waiting for the Bhandara.

The students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya were chanting Mantras and
Vedic Hymns in Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir.

Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari are guiding the students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya to Omkarananda Vidya Bhawan
for joining the Bhandara.

The Bhandara for the Sadhus is about to start.

Satisfied and happy with a great Bhandara
the Sadhus proceed to their respective Ashrams.

Students and Ashram Members have joined the Bhandara.

Shri Pramod Kalani distributes Dakshina to the students.
