Omkarananda Jayanti Celebrations,
on 25th December 2015

In the morning of 25th December 2015, the auspicious day of Omkarananda Jayanti,
Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji joyously welcomes two great Educationists
from Rishikesh, Shri D.K. Varshney (right) and Shri I.D. Joshi (left).

As it is the Tradition, Omkarananda Jayanti Celebrations started with Recitation of Sundarkand Path in front of the Omkarananda-Hanuman Mandir.

Swami Vishveshwarananda, Shri Gopalacharya, Priests, Musicians, Teachers,
Students and Devotees took part in this divine event.

Shri Suresh Panditji, Chief Priest of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir,
performs Arati for Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
Shri Omkarananda-Hanuman and Lord Shiva.

The cultural Function in honour of Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati
started with lighting of Deepas by Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Shri D.K. Varshney.

Kumari Somashekhari, along with her student Neha,
look happily forward to the start of the cultural function.

9 out of 30 students of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya skilfully recite the
"Shiva Sankalpa Suktam" in the beautiful Shukla Yajurveda style.

The Principal of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, Vedacharya
Shri Shivakumar Maalviya, is being honoured by the Chief Guest,
Shri D.K. Varshney, for training the students so well.

Shri Ramesh Uniyalji sings a song in the local Garhwali language,
written and composed by himself, in honour of Gurudev
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

For his wonderful song Shri Ramesh Uniyal
is thanked and felicitated by Shri I.D. Joshiji.

Kumari Somashekhari in a graceful pose of the Divine Mother.

 In honour of her Sadgurudev Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
Guru-Bhakti-Ratna Kumari Somashekhari is presenting attractive Bharatanatyam items.

The Chief Guest of this function, Shri D.K. Varshney, a great Educationist
and Vice-President of Management Committees of Omkarananda Institute
of Management & Technology and Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam
Inter-College, expresses his deepest and sincere admiration for
Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and His divine Mission
of spreading real Spirituality and Education in Uttarakhand and
for the laudable effort of His direct disciples Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda,
Shri Swami Satchidananda and Kumari Somashekhari in His Mission.

Swami Vishveshwarananda honours Shri D.K. Varshney and tells everybody about Varshneyji's great and selfless contributions for the educational Institutions of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati inspires many devotees
through his divine and heart-touching speech, awakening in them the wish
for a better and happier way of life. Swami Vishveshwarananda also narrates
from his wondrous experiences with his Gurudev, the great Siddhapurusha,
Sage, Mystic, Philosopher and Writer, Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

The audience is listening spell-bound to
Swami Vishveshwaranandaji's wonderful speech.

Shri D.K. Varshneyji offered a beautiful flower garland to Swamiji on behalf of
all devotees, thanking him for his great dedication to Gurudev's Mission.

Swami Vishveshwarananda appeals to the devotees to listen always to
the inner divine voice in their hearts, which is telling what is right and what is wrong.
He also wishes to all of them Swami Omkarananda's infinite Blessings
for granting them true Joy and Happiness and as fast as possible attainment
of Jeevanmukti - Liberation, while living in the physical body - the true goal of life,
since this is the only solution to overcome all fears and sorrows.

The cultural Function is concluded with Omkarananda Arati
and Pushpanjali by the Chief Priest Shri Suresh Joshi.

Finally, devotees and guests are chanting
"OM Shri Paramahamsa Omkarananda Maharaj ki Jay !!!"

Everybody could enjoy a Bhandara.
