Maha Kumbha-Abhisheka Celebrations
of Aadi Vazhividum Vinaayakar Temple,
 in Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu,
13th September to 16th September 2015

Having arrived from Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Kumari Somashekhari stands
in the pose of Parvati Devi next to Lord Shiva Nataraja at the Chennai Airport.

with a kind and open heart.

about the great Saint Thirugnana-Sambanda to Swami Vishveshwarananda
and Kumari Somashekhari and writes Blessings for them.

of Aadi Vazhividum Vinaayakar Temple, Rajapalayam.

After the conclusion of the Maha-Kumbha-Abhisheka a great festival took place
on 16th September 2015 evening, in a big tent, next to the Ganesha Temple.
The Festival started with musicians, playing the drums and dancing in an ecstatic way.

On this occasion free marriages were conducted.
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda is blessing the couples.

Somaji, surrounded by a huge crowd, blesses the newly wed couples with flowers.

Every bridegroom receives a traditional turban.

Finally 5-Mukhi Rudrakshas are offered by Swami Vishveshwarananda
and Kumari Somashekhari to the happy couples.

Kumari Somashekhari addresses the crowd in their own mother language - Tamil.
There was a storm of appreciation.

Swami Vishveshwarananda, in his speech, pointed out the great devotion,
which the people of Rajapalayam are having for the Vedic Culture.

The graceful Bharatanatyam Dance-Performance of Kumari Somashekhari,
in front of Lord Ganesha, took the audience by surprise.

The highly artistic ceiling-paintings of a more than 1000-year-old Shiva-Temple,
situated in a calm and quiet area near Rajapalayam.

Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari were invited by
the Ramco Group Chairman to their spacious and beautiful Vedic School.

The Main Secretary, in charge of educational Projects and Temples of Ramco Group, explains the functioning of the Vedic School.

Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari, after they had
the Darshan of Shri Aandaal in the Shrivilliputhur Aandaal Temple.
They are standing in front of a beautiful Gopuram of this Temple,
which is the official symbol of Tamil Nadu.

After a great spiritual journey Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari
are in the Chennai Airport with Lord Nataraja.
