Glimpses of "OJAS'14"

Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology organised "OJAS '14", a two day long State Level Intercollegiate Fest on 28th and 29th March 2014, in which around 45 Colleges and 12 Universities had been extended invitation to be a part of the event.

The event had a mix of various sporting events and games. Students from more than 20 Colleges and 5 Universities of Uttarakhand heartily participated in a number of events like debate, quiz, painting, poster making, photography, LAN gaming, volley ball, singing, dancing, Rangoli making and Ad mad show, followed by the performance of Sufi Rock Band "Jazba".

The Fest was inaugurated by Honourable Minister of Education Uttarakhand Government, Mr. Mantri Prasad Naithani, Honourable MLA Narendra Nagar, Mr. Subodh Uniyal, Honourable MLA Rishikesh, Mr. Prem Chand Aggarwal; and Kumari Somashekhariji, General Secretary Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, and His Holiness Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswatiji, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, presided over the function.

During the closing ceremony Prizes and Certificates were distributed to all the winners of the various activities during the Fest and Academic Toppers of 2013-2014, by Honourable Ex-Minister Uttarakhand Government, Lt. General T.P.S. Rawat. He congratulated OIMTians for organising such an extraordinary event.

Later OIMTians and participants present from other Colleges and Universities, were thrilled by the performance of the known Sufi Rock Band "Jazba".

The Fest provided a platform for students across the State to showcase their talents through technically challenging and mind-boggling events. In addition, it provided ample opportunity to students to build their personal skills and to interact with some of the best minds.
