A delegation of 40 Members of
"Shri Narayana Bhakti-Gyan Satsang Mandal" and
"Jan Shiksha evam Sanskar Samiti" under the
guidance of their President, Shri Diwakar Mishra, paid a
visit to Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. After taking the
Darshan of the Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir, they
assembled in Omkarananda Vidya Bhawan, where Shri
Siddhartha Krishna introduced Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda
Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, and
Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary of the Ashram,
sitting next to him on the dais.
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, in his
short speech, highlighted the activities of the
Omkarananda Saraswati Charitable Trust, through its
numerous social, religious and educational Institutions,
which all had been founded by H.D. Paramahamsa Omkarananda
Saraswati, in the holy area of Garhwal Himalayas.
Kumari Somashekhari spoke about the
importance of the Vedic System in our daily lives. She
praised the eternal culture, which India presents to the
world. Being herself professional in the Art of Indian
Classical Dance, she talked about the great value, this
science can bring on the way to spiritual heights.
In his powerful speech Shri Swami
Vishveshwarananda emphasized, that spiritual practises in
daily life and thoughts about the divine Nature of the
true Self can make a man a superhuman Individual. Pointing
to Swami Pragyananda, sitting next to Somashekhari, he
explained, that Swamiji lives a life of an excellent
Sannyasi, with greatest knowledge of the Vedic Principles.
Delegates offered their Thanks for the
nice, sweet and knowledgeable Satsang they could
attend in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas.
Finally the President of Shri Narayana
Bhakti-Gyan Satsang Mandal, Shri Diwakar Mishra, referred
to their religious activities in form of different Kathas.
Then he expressed his gratitude on behalf of all, for
getting the opportunity to spend some valuable time with
Swami Vishveshwarananda, Kumari Somashekhari and
Siddhartha Krishna. He concluded with Prayers, in which
everybody joined.
In the end, tea and snacks were served
to all, and of course, thoughts about this beautiful event
were exchanged from all the sides. Present was also
honourable Professor Ram Kumar Sharma.
