The New Delhi World Book Fair, held in Pragati Maidan, in New Delhi, is India's oldest Book Fair. Started in 1972, this biennial event is organized by the National Book Trust, India. India is the biggest market for English publications, and is believed to have 12000 publishers and around 90000 titles a year in more than 18 languages. India ranks third in the publication of English books, immediately after the USA and the UK.

The 20th New Delhi World Book Fair 2012, held from 25th February 2012 to 4th March 2012, was truly an amazing international event with an exhibition area of 45000 square metres and over 2500 stalls in various huge halls, on the beautiful ground of Pragati Maidan. There were 1300 exhibitors, including 30 foreign exhibitors and international bodies like WHO, UNESCO and World Bank.

The New Delhi World Book Fair 2012 was a major event for book lovers. Daily thousands of visitors could enjoy exploring the biggest book market in the world.

On 29th February 2012 H.H. Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Kumari Somashekhari, General Secretary Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, and Shri R.D. Gaur, Member of Omkarananda Educational Society, paid a visit to the World Book Fair in New Delhi, Pragati Maidan, to see the Book "WHO IS A GURU? and other inspiring speeches by Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati", which was prominently displayed at several places in the Bookstall of Motilal Banarsidass, in Hall No. 6.

This beautiful, inspiring and divine book was published by Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas in October 2011 and is since then distributed worldwide by Motilal Banarsidass.

It was a matter of great joy and pride for all disciples and devotees of Sadgurudev H.D. Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, that the newly released book "WHO IS A GURU? and Other Inspiring Speeches by Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati", was exhibited in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2012.
