Management & Technology
made a Brilliant Record at Manfest '09,
from 3rd to 5th November 2009, in Dehradun

More than 15 Business Institutes on National and State Level participated in Manfest '09 contest, which comprised of various activities such as product promotion, business plan, case study, dumb charade, ship wreck, business quiz, speed chess and cultural activities, like dance and singing, etc.

The Manfest '09 was held at Doon Business School, Dehradun, from 3rd to 5th November 2009 and it was inaugurated by the Honourable Speaker of Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha, Shri Harbans Kapoor, who gave an inspiring message to the students to motivate and promote them for such activities in the field of development of managerial skills and leadership quality.

The students of Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology won the first prize at State Level (Uttarakhand) and the second prize on National Level. The team, under the leadership of faculty members, Dr. D.S. Chaubey and Prof. Subrahmanian, took part in the Manfest '09. Shrikant Verma stood first in singing, while Manoj, Anjul and Jitendra won second prize in dumb charade. Shruti Singh, Anubhav Agrawal and Pradeep Kundaliya performed very well and got appreciation. In Business Plan the Jury appreciated the performance of Rajat Agrawal and Jitendra Singh, while Shruti's dancing was equally admirable.

Dr. D.S. Chauhan, Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, gave away the prizes and called upon the students to participate in such programs for the enhancement of leadership skills in them.

In an informal chat with the OIMT team Dr. Chauhan was extremely happy that OIMT was successful in the field of extracurricular activities in the University. He congratulated the OIMT-students for their brilliant success.

Dr. Rekha Aggarwala, Director of OIMT, also congratulated the team and gave away prizes to the students, on 14th November 2009, at Volleyball Sports Ground of Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology.

H.H. Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, President of Omkarananda Ashram, congratulated the students and awarded each of them a holy Rudraksha Mala with the blessings of Gurudev Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati for winning the first and second prize in the Manfest '09, at Doon Business School, Dehradun.
