Omkarananda Ganga-Mata Mandir, Triveni Ghat,
Rishikesh is the venue for many cultural programmes. From 11th to
18th September 09 Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapurana Katha programme was
conducted by Pandit Radharaman Shastriji. The programme was well
attended by devotees. The organisers specially had invited Swami
Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari, President and General
Secretary of Omkarananda Ashram, Rishikesh, on 14th September
2009. Kumari Somashekhariji with her students, Kumaris Neha and
Pinky, presented dances in honour of Lord Krishna and Radha and
thrilled the audience. Among other invitees were Swami
Narasimhuluji and four Air hostesses from Air Mauritius. In the
end of the function Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji warmly
expressed his thanks to all and appreciated the Katha of Shri
Radharaman Shastriji.
