Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda
Saraswati, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
heartily welcomes everybody to the Concluding Function of
Omkarananda Mahotsava, at Omkarananda Gayatri Ved
Vidyalaya, on the bank of holy Mother Ganga.
The beautifully dressed students of
Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya start the Function
with skilful recitation of Vedic Shlokas.
The Priests of Omkarananda Ashram
Himalayas conduct special Pujas at an altar of Gurudev
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, while the Ganga is
flowing peacefully in the background.
Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari
Somashekhari take part in a special Hawana, where Ahutis
are offered to each of the 108 holy Names of Paramahamsa
Omkarananda Saraswati, the "Shri Sadguru
Omkarananda-Ashtottara-Shata-Namavali".
Kumari Somashekhari presents a
lively dance to a joyous Radha-Krishna Bhajan. The
spontaneous applause from all present, showed the great
appreciation of the Dance item.
While dancing, Somashekhari depicts
Krishna Gopal, taking care for the cows - a truly
extraordinary representation.
Shri Ramesh Uniyal renders a
beautiful Garhwali song, composed by him.
Qualified Musicians present Bhajans
on this occasion.
In honour of her Gurudev
Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati, Guru-Bhakti-Ratna
Kumari Somashekhari performs a professional Bharatanatyam
dance item consisting of complicated rhythmic patterns
and graceful dance movements. A real worship to
Gurudev through dance - beautiful.
Shri Anup Bhatt, a small, talented
student of Omkarananda Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, surprises
everybody with a nice Krishna Bhajan.
Shri I.D. Joshi, Joint Secretary of
Management Committees of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam
and Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology,
expresses his regards and best wishes.
Kumari Somashekhari had
choreographed a dance to the ca. 5000-year-old Tamil song
"Maargazhi Thingal", by the great South Indian
Poet-Saint and Divine Incarnation Shri Aandaal.
Somashekhari danced to this song as a Tribute to her
beloved Sadgurudev, Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati,
whose Jayanti (birthday) falls in the auspicious month of
Maargazhi. This was a professional dance item, based on
years of experience.
Somashekhari concluded her
performances with the "Omkarananda Arati Dance".
The Principal of Omkarananda
Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, Shri Shiva Kumar Maalviya, honours
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda Saraswati with a shawl and a
flower mala.
Shri Shiva Kumar Maalviya expresses
his deep appreciation and Adorations to Shri Swami
Vishveshwarananda, emphasizing that he never came in
contact with a Saint of such a kind and noble nature
like Swamiji.

Thanks, Shri Swami Vishveshwaranandaji touches the
hearts of all.
The young Student of Omkarananda
Gayatri Ved Vidyalaya, Shri Anup Bhatt, is specially
honoured for his nice Bhajan by Swamiji.

devotee from New Delhi, expresses his feelings of
Gratitude to all disciples of Paramahamsa Omkarananda
Saraswati, and specially to Swami Vishveshwaranandaji.
Arati for Gurudev and Maa Ganga by
Shri Swami Vishveshwarananda, Kumari Somashekhari and
Chief Priest Shri Suresh Joshi.
Guided by Swamiji everybody
proceeds down to Mother Ganga for special prayers.
The Omkarananda Mahotsava concluded
on a joyous and divine note. While offering many
flower petals to Maa Ganga, everybody chanted:

Ganga Maiyaa ki Jay ! Om Paramahamsa Omkarananda
Maharaj ki Jay! Om"
