The Summer Yoga Camp in Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, an Inter-College from Class Nursery up to Class 12, having presently a strength of 2500 students, was held from 18th May 2009 to 25th May 2009 for interested students.

On 25th May 2009, a nice, sunny summer-morning, the conclusion of this Camp was celebrated, in which about 50 students, up to class 10, participated and showed their skills in Yoga.

Under the able guidance of the School-Yoga-Teacher Shrimati Anuradha Bhargava, the children started first with prayers, followed by several Asanas. It was a wonderful view to see these nicely, specially dressed students, all neatly in line, giving their presentations.

There was no doubt about their capability, which indicated their constant training and hard work. The discipline which they showed spoke volumes about their seriousness to practise Yoga in their daily lives.
A few selected students are performing High Class breath takingly difficult Asanas.

A few selected students were called to the Dais to show what Yoga really means. Their breath-taking performance was the top of the demonstration. The flexibility of these students, doing extremely difficult Asanas, was amazing and thrilling. For their great demonstration they received thundering applause.

Toppers with their well-deserved certificates.
Experts in Yoga, who could later on see their performance on the Video, admitted, that it was a Master-demonstration.

H.H. Shri Swami Vishveshwar'ananda Saraswati, President of Omkarananda Saraswati Charitable Trust, had been invited as Chief Guest of this Function. He thanked the students, Yoga-Teacher and all those involved, who made the summer-camp an unforgettable event. In his address Swamiji highlighted the importance of Yoga, its benefits in respect of good health and specially as a form, essential for a fast spiritual progress.
